Galatians 6:10 KJV As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Ephesians 2:19-22 KJV 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.Ephesians 4:16 KJV 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.1 Thessalonians 5:11-15 NIV 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you.13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Membership is a statement that the church has imparted and participated in the life of the individual. The individual is now ready to commit to do the same for the church and others that will come. Memebership shows who can be Counted On. Doctrine As Christians, we are what our doctrine has made us to be. Involvement. Beyond membership, there are various opportunities for people to get involved at RC. We encourage you to become active in the ministry, culture and activities of RC as all of these are designed to move you further on the discipleship journey. There are three things that God has given to every believer to use in life: time, talent, and treasure. We are to take those things and use them for the glory of God.
