Fight For It
Matthew 11:11-12 KJV 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Matthew 11:11-12NLT 11 “I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is! 12 And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing,[a] and violent people are attacking it.

The Goodness of God is on God’s people and for God’s people.

Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

“The thief comes to kill steal and destroy.” • Usually, the attack and warfare from Satan comes first in the mind. •Romans 12:2“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

I. God wants his children to be blessed with plenty.

  1. The Bible tells us that He wants us to prosper (III John 2).

The word “prosper” means that we are to be rewarded after we have done something.

  1. God made Abraham to prosper (Genesis 13:2). “Rich, loaded with Cattle, silver and gold.”

PLEANTY TO EAT, PLENTY TO WEAR, A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE, NICE THINNGS, and MONEY FOR GRANDCHILDREN.

  1. God’s Word says that we have been blessed with Abraham’s blessings (Galatians 3:13-14, 29).

II. These blessings do not automatically come to us, though God wants us to have them.

III. We must work with our hands to take the blessings that belong to us.

God has promised to bless what we do with our hands (Psalm 1:3). Psalm 1 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
