Gal 6:17, Mark 16:17-18, 2 Cor 3:18

Galatians 6:17 NIV From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

Galatians 6:17 MSG Quite frankly, I don’t want to be bothered anymore by these disputes. I have far more important things to do—the serious living of this faith. I bear in my body scars from my service to Jesus.

We should have Marks in our life that says hey He or She is a believer IN CHRIST.

“I shouldn’t have to tell near as much as my/our LIFE SHOWS!!”

“These signs shall follow those that believe: In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Jesus, in Mark 16:17-18

Change: THEY CHANGED

Some say well the church has changed, so we don’t go no more.
Some may say well the people there have changed.

May I pose to you a question. What if the churches changes is the God changes? What if someone you loved hanging around becomes more passionate about God and changes. What if you find YOUR STUCK and while God was moving the church forward and the Body forward maybe you didn’t, Who was wrong?

We are the Church :We are in the People changing business.

Is the Scripture about CHANGE? LORD YESSSSSssssss! Here is just ONE… 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  1. Confess sin Psalm 51:4: “Against You, You only have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that You are justified when You speak and blameless when you judge.”

  2. Forgive others Our God is in the FORGIVING BUISNESS shouldn’t we also be, He’s a Forgiving God

When we forgive others, we are proclaiming His compassion and eagerness to forgive. It has been said that “we are never more God-like than when we forgive”

LORDS prayer (Matt 6:12-15). Forgiving others puts His glory on display. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

  1. Trust God If God does all things for our good (and He does), then demonstrating our trust in Him puts His nature and character on display.

  2. Produce fruit Jesus says: “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit” (John 15:8).

  3. Give thanks Psalm 50:23 says, “He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies Me.” Expressions of gratitude to God sets His glory on a pedestal. Thanksgiving directs our focus on the One who is the Giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17)

  4. Pray Like giving thanks, prayer shines the spotlight on God’s attributes of goodness and omnipotence.
