The Stretch Marks

The Stretch Marks (Decisions)

Joshua 24:15 NIV But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

When you are born you look like your parents. When you die you look like the decisions you made in life.

We will serve the Lord you know what Joshua was saying he said you got to choose.

Why do we. Struggle in making correct decision.

  1. We are overwhelmed with so many choices

  2. Many times we are afraid or FEAR of making the wrong choices.

“Here is the secret of Jesus’ life and work for God: He prayerfully waited for His Father’s instructions and for the strength to follow them. Jesus had no divinely-drawn blueprint; He discerned the Father’s will day by day in a life of prayer.” Charles Hummel

“Being a Christian is less about cautiously avoiding sin than about courageously and actively doing God's will.”

― Eric Metaxas, Bonhoeffer: Pastor,

God will Speak though His Word “God will lead you by the Spirit of Peace. The Holy Spirit. God will order our steps, PEACE

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
