Developing Situation
Numbers 17:1-8 NIV 17 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and get twelve staffs from them, one from the leader of each of their ancestral tribes. Write the name of each man on his staff. 3 On the staff of Levi write Aaron’s name, for there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral tribe. 4 Place them in the tent of meeting in front of the ark of the covenant law, where I meet with you. 5 The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of this constant grumbling against you by the Israelites.” 6 So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and their leaders gave him twelve staffs, one for the leader of each of their ancestral tribes, and Aaron’s staff was among them.7 Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the covenant law.8 The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron’s staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.

God has a Choosing AND GOD HAS CHOSEN ME!!!

  1. Just like Aaron, You and I are Chosen People. 1 Peter 2:9 NIV 9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

As Chosen People of God. • We must be people who allow God to lead us. • We must be an obedient people to God.
• We must be a humble people to God. • We must be a teachable people by God.

• GOD Left the Building and Moved into the Heart!!

• We Moved past Carrying a Staff To Carrying THE SWORD which is the Word of God!!! Hebrews 4:12 NIV 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Effect of the Authority of The Word of God on each of us.

  2. Bud. In botany, a bud is an undeveloped or embryonic shoot Tree outside our window, the sign of things to come.
  3. Blossom. The evidence of maturing and growing
  4. Produce Fruit. The Outward expression of the work God is doing in us.
