Acts 2:1-4 NIV The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Jonah 1 KJV Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

Jonah : Was sent by God on mission. The People was on a Path of Destruction.

We are sent on a mission, Preach to the City USA.

God Spared:

  • The Sailors when the plead Mercy.
  • Jonah from the belly of the Fish when he prayed.
  • Ninevah when they responded to Jonahs preahing.
  • He works His will, God desires all!!
