Jesus is.

Luke 19:1-10 NKJV 1 Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus,make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. 7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”

8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”

9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Life would be good if it weren’t for humans.. People get in your way, People let you down, People are rude, People make you think bad thought, People make you say things we ought not… NEWS FLASH: You Are People.

We have so many ups and downs and things that effect our emotions, moods… We all have STUFF. Hard stuff, Good stuff, Bad stuff, Sweet stuff, Bitter stuff….

We are going to have those day, Jesus PROMISED IT. “In this life you’re going to have troubles”.

1. It’s in Christ that you and I measure up. Just like Zac, You will never measure up in your own effort and flesh. There is a lil Zacchaeus in all of us… IT’S NOT BY WORKS LESS ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST Eph 2:9 • The prophet Isaiah makes it crystal clear: “we are unclean and our righteous works are like filthy rags to God (Is. 64:6)” • Paul in his letter to the Romans, “All have turned aside…no one does good, not even one” (Rom. 3:12). God is holy and righteous, and our works are not.

2. We have no place to sit in judgment ,nobody is perfect especially myself. The is a little Pharisee in each of us.

3. Jesus died to save ALL of us not just some. John 3:16

4. To be whole we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. There needs a whole lot of the JESUS in each of us.

Live in the spirit you and I will not fulfill the lust of the FLESH.
Greed, judgment, unforgiveness, haughtiness, I will be unfulfilled until I’m Filled! I will be Judge UNTIL I’m Filled!
