Romans 4:17-21 New International Version 17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.”[a] He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.

18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”[b] 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

God's Promises are good. God's Promises are for The Harvest.

Hope: is living with expectation that something GOOD is going to happen to or for me. And it could happen at ANY MOMENT!

Circumstances/posistion do not dictate God's Promises.

Roman 4:17 “As it is Written” What does God say about it?

  • Abraham hoped agianst all hope,
  1. Hebrews 11:6 NIV And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
  2. James 1:5-8 NIV If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

  • Abraham Increased his faith. His obsticles increased his faith in God.

  • Abraham gave Glory to God. “there is a Eternal manifestation before there is a physical earthly manifestation” PD

Matthew 18:18 NIV “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.

  • Abraham had Confidence in God's Power not his old flesh… Are you taking confidence in what you have or dont have, or PLACING All Hope in God's POWER!!!!!
